About the role O’Reilly is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the marketing team.
This role performs a variety of functions to support O’Reilly’s marketing programs, campaigns, tradeshow, and other initiatives.
We need someone who is extremely organized, has excellent project management skills, has creative vision, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with excellent verbal and writing skills.
The Marketing Coordinator supports a variety of marketing functions: marketing plan execution, tradeshow coordination, email, and direct mail campaign management, preparing reports and tracking expenses, event logistics, and other miscellaneous marketing duties as needed.
This person must be proactive and self-directed, yet able to work as part of a close-knit team.
This position works with a variety of departments at O’Reilly including sales, design, and marketing operations.

Please note this role requires you to visit the Sebastopol, CA office a few times a week as needed Salary range: $50,000 - $63,000 Essential Functions Coordinate media buy deliverables as needed including landing pages, email blasts, banner ads, PPL assets, webcast descriptions, and newsletter inclusions.
Research new sources and outlets for lead generation and make recommendations to marketing and sales leadership.
Working with Marketing Manager, create and plan tradeshow strategy for a variety of customer segments in support of company goals.
Coordinate tradeshow logistics for assigned events including contracts, booth selection, lead capture, booth activities, swag, staffing, booth graphics, and marketing collateral Work with marketing operations to upload and track inbound leads from marketing initiatives for nurturing and/or distribution to the sales team.
Help coordinate online events such as webcasts and virtual conferences with asset creation and marketing support Develop sales collateral and swag, and disseminate as needed.
Ensure that collateral has consistent branding and messaging and is updated as needed.
Work with Marketing Manager to facilitate customer success team requests including collateral, swag, and attendance at onsite client events.
Work with other members of the marketing team to create and maintain a company-wide marketing calendar.
Measure ROI and track results of all marketing efforts (i.
e.
website statistics, lead volume, Salesforce pipeline, etc.
) to improve effectiveness.
Partner with other members of the marketing team, sales team, and other O'Reilly departments on other integrated marketing ideas and tasks.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong organizational skills and ability follow-through with projects Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to take direction and work in a team environment, provide and accept feedback in a professional manner, and support team workers to achieve common goals Must be able to work within tight deadlines and shift priorities when necessary Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects and overlapping deadlines Attention to detail, including a strong command of grammar, spelling, and style Strong computer skills, experience with business software (Word, Excel, Salesforce) Aptitude for learning new tools and programs, such as Marketo, Google Analytics, GoogleDocs, WorkFront, Airtable, Showpad, and Salesforce Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience At least two years experience in a marketing, sales, or administrative role Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, including weekends and holidays Physical Requirements Be able to work on a computer for at least 3 hours at a time Ability to be on video conferencing frequently and for extended periods of time Carry 20 pounds 20 yards Speak, read and write English Ability to travel a few times per year and attend occasional meetings, tradeshows and events, including during evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to travel to the Sebastopol, CA office a few times a week as needed About O’Reilly Media O’Reilly’s mission is to change the world by sharing the knowledge of innovators.
