Responsibilities: The Lab Solutions Senior Sales Representative is a key member of the Lab Solutions commercial team and owns and exceeds the revenue target for the California and Hawaii territories.
The Sr.
Sales Representative will be responsible for territory planning, pipeline management, and deal closure of Lab Solutions products portfolios to new and existing customers, all the while working in an environment where you will be supported, valued, and rewarded for your performance! Responsibilities include: Create and maintain a territory plan that will meet and exceed annual territory targets.
Execute the territory plan: Sell.
Identify and create action plans in conjunction with the Product Marketing team to penetrate new customers and adjacent markets in territory.
Develop strong relationships with Hamilton customers to expand account adoptions of Hamilton Lab Solutions products.
Maintain an accurate opportunity pipeline in HubSpot CRM.
Provide regular forecasting on quarterly revenue attainment to Sales Manager.
Be the Lab Solutions Product Line expert and aid the team.
Coaching of sales representatives within the team and go-to contact within the Lab Solutions team on Hamilton robotics products.
Deputy to Sales Manager on team management when necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Ability to manage expenses and meet budget guidelines.
Excellent time management skills for meeting productivity expectations.
Demonstrated coaching or mentoring ability.
Demonstrated leadership skills in owning a sales territory.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel: expect at least 40-50% travel with up to 75% at times.
Demonstrated collaborative relationship with other business partners and team members.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in science discipline or demonstrated experience in biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, clinical research, life sciences, basic research, or research and development.
Experience with sales of manual and automated laboratory equipment and solutions.
Experience with life sciences required.
Minimum of 5 years of life science instruments and consumable sales experience.
Experience in instrument sales, biotechnology sales, clinical research sales, molecular diagnostic sales, research scientists, laboratory scientists, or chemists preferred.
Additional Information: Anticipated salary range is $100,000 - $135,000/yr.
