We are seeking the right candidate for our Showroom Sales Consultant role at our San Rafael location.
Showroom Consultants are trusted partners in the construction process.
With in-depth training on brands, product offerings and features, our consultants are trained in all things luxury plumbing, lighting & appliances.
We are seeking a charismatic team player with a background in sales and customer service.
Passion around interior design is preferred, but not required.
Previous industry experience is a perk, but also not required.

Responsibilities:
Work with customers, including builders, designers, and homeowners, to sell a wide range of products, which may include lighting, appliances, high end fixtures and cabinetry
Respond to inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory and delivery information
Greet guests upon arriving in our retail showroom, learn their motivation for their visit and developing a lasting customer relationship
Prepare job quotations and submittals
Assist customers, both by appointment and walk-ins, while utilizing suggestive sales techniques and handling complaints timely and accurately
Continually improve sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field
Qualifications:
A college degree is helpful, but prior experience in retail sales, or luxury sales especially within our industry, will be considered
A strong sales presence and good interpersonal skills
Problem solving, leadership, listening and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management skills
The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product knowledge
A passion for design and interior decorating
Able to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for the varying needs of the customer
The hourly pay is $20 per hour plus commission.
The estimated total compensation range is $75,000- $150,000 annually.
