You’ll be matched up with team members and travel around to different areas of the bay area in our awesome shiny blue trucks (No CDL Required)! You'll visit our customers’ homes, properties, and businesses to take away their unwanted items.
We are committed to being environmentally friendly by recycling, donating and diverting items to keep them out of landfills.
Key Responsibilities: Driving: Get trained in-house to safely drive Isuzu NPR/NQR/NRR trucks Truck Operations: Safe operation of the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Trucks Junk Diversion: Recognize donatable items, recyclables, and items of want for diversion from sorting facilities to be reused by those in need.
Marketing: Enthusiastically advocate for our brand to all you meet and encounter - from Guerilla Marketing to Mobile Marketing in our trucks.
Safety: Commitment to the safe and professional navigation and driving of trucks, intelligent and efficient loading & unloading of customers belongings Key Requirements: 19+ years of age (required for insurance purposes) A valid driver's license & clean driving record for the past 7+ years Physically capable of lifting and loading 50lbs+ repeatedly throughout the day Comfortable & confident meeting customers and communicating the value of our services Must be able to drive for over 30 minutes at a time from job to job Be able to work full days (ie.
7 - 9 hours per day on average) Must be able to load and unload items with and without dollies Positive attitude & professional appearance Able to pass a background check Be drug-free: we are a drug-free workplace Have a working Cell Phone Must be able to work Sundays Apply today to join our great team.
