About the Role
As a Business Development Representative at Woodruff Sawyer, you will be a key player in growing our business.
Known internally as a "Market Growth Specialist".
Working with the Market Growth Manager, you'll help us shape the newest part of our marketing and sales growth engine.
You'll be gaining a deep understanding of the insurance and risk advisory business.
What You'll Do
Research potential accounts and leads on assigned target account lists.
Based on your research, create personalized outreach for prospecting.
Proactively engage prospects across email, phone, and social media to educate and become a helpful resource for them.
Share our content, invite to events, and set meetings for our Account Executives.
Through your research and outreach, identify the needs and challenges of prospects and share your findings with the Marketing team for continual improvement.
Work in conjunction with Marketing to develop custom campaigns and outreach strategies to generate and move leads through the sales funnel from MQL to SQL.
Assist in creating a repeatable and scalable process for new customer acquisition and for cross-selling to existing clients.

Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Will be required to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within 90 days of date of hire – including the completion of a +52-hour training course and obtaining a passing pre-test exam score as a prerequisite to the California State P&C Insurance License exam.
Experience with Business Development toolkit – Zoominfo, Prospect, SalesNav, Outreach, Salesloft, Salesforce, Hubspot, etc is preferred.
Experience in insurance or a similar service-based industry, B2B environment, and/or experience working with C-suite is preferred.
More About Us
Compensation: Anticipated salary between $64,680 - $97,030.
Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.
This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation based on individual and Company performance.
