About the role
The Account Associate assists the Client Director pod in handling Computacenter’s customer base and the sales of products and services.
They support the sales process by coordinating sales related activities and client needs.
They work with internal departments as well as external vendors building customer satisfaction, assisting in sales opportunity growth, thereby enabling the sales pod to pursue new, strategic accounts.
What you’ll be doing
Working alongside Client Directors and Account Managers to deliver excellent service to existing customers and assisting in driving new business within prospective target clients.
Scheduling and attending meetings and key events with current and prospective customers.
Keeping current and prospective customers apprised of current promotions, new or upgraded products, quoting prices and credit terms, and all related follow up.
Assisting in day-to-day activities including pre-qualifying new opportunities collaborating with the Inside Sales team on order tracking/reporting, identifying up-selling opportunities, assisting with accounts receivable issues.
Creating customer meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and follow up tasks.
What you have
1-2 years’ experience in a professional setting.
Strong written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
Effective time management and prioritization.
Experience working both independently and collaboratively.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel to meetings.
Legally authorization to work in the United States
