Job Description Director, Finance and Legal, Ethics & Compliance Communications in Global Employee Communications and Engagement Job Description We are looking for a Director, Finance and Legal, Ethics & Compliance Communications in Global Employee Communications and Engagement to create and drive internal communications strategies supporting two of Visa’s high-visibility functions.
This role will partner with the Senior Director, Corporate Function Communications, to develop and execute thoughtful communication approaches for major Finance and LEC initiatives, launches, and milestones.
This role supports Visa’s Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel, and their respective teams to deliver against their functional internal communications priorities and objectives.
The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to Finance and LEC leaders on effective communication strategies to promote their functional impact to the broader organization and drive increased engagement within their teams.
Responsibilities Create internal communications for the Chief Financial Officer, General Counsel and their functions to engage Visa’s 28,000 employees about relevant business priorities and key milestones.
Lead the end-to-end development and implementation of employee communications plans for the Finance and Legal, Ethics & Compliance organizations.
Write and produce integrated communications and assets for programs led by the Finance and LEC functions that align with key initiatives such as transformation, modernization, and employee engagement.
Guide team leaders on effective communication strategies and tactics to drive deeper pride, unification, and connections within their organizations.
Develop content for use across multiple internal channels example email, intranet, social, presentations, videos, and town halls at both the function and enterprise levels.
Work closely with the Finance and LEC organization’s leaders to ensure strong message alignment, calendar of upcoming events, social activations, and content plans.
Create and execute change management communication strategies for significant functional initiatives.
Embed robust analytics and measurement processes into communications strategies and analyze and share relevant metrics to stakeholders to demonstrate communication plan effectiveness and drive ongoing improvement.
Ensure that communications are delivered in a way that is timely, accurate, on brand and aligned with the company purpose, strategy, and culture.
Partner with colleagues across the Communications organization, particularly business and regional leads, to ensure message alignment and share best practices.
This is a hybrid position.
Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office.
Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.

Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD • Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related discipline required.
Preferred Qualifications • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.

Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD • Experience in fintech, financial services, or another relevant area strongly preferred • Experience in shaping communications strategies and serving as a trusted advisor to leaders • Demonstrated deep understanding of the employee audience and their needs • Ability to leverage advanced communications acumen to deliver both broad and bespoke messages and content that resonate with the audience • Exceptional project management with the ability to multi-task and achieve multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment • Ability to synthesize business issues into programs, agendas, and content that address challenges and celebrate key milestones.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including stellar editorial proficiency in writing, editing, proofing.
• Keen sense of accountability and ownership • Ability to influence others and build relationships within an organization, communicate regularly with key individuals and interface with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership • An understanding of communication as a change enabler with experience in change management initiatives a plus • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, pivot quickly, and respond with urgency • Sound business judgment and experience connecting the dots among seemingly unrelated topics • Hands-on team player with outstanding project management and strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • Good judgment skills and able to handle confidential or sensitive information • Passionate about people, culture, and the employee experience • Ability to work independently • Positive approach and commitment to providing excellent client service Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.
The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 132,200 to 213,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable).
Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
