The Manager, Global Internal Communication plays an integral role in supporting employee engagement, internal messaging, and strategic communication priorities.
This role will help manage the flow of information to the Benefit team worldwide and oversee our global employee Intranet, developing it into a robust source of critical company news, managing weekly updates with new content, resources, and information.
This role requires someone with a passion for and considerable experience in writing.
Expected to also have established knowledge of employee communication & engagement best practices, this role will serve as a champion for Benefit’s culture, supporting internal events and employer brand storytelling.
As a key member of the newly established Global Communication function at Benefit, this role will play a critical part in helping to establish new processes, partnerships, and connection across the world with high levels of agility, creativity, and strategic thinking.
What You’ll Do: * Support the optimization of our internal communications channels and execute against a channel & content plan to ensure effective communication and reach across our hybrid and geographically distributed workforce * Help, develop & execute against an internal editorial/publication calendar in support of the global communications strategy * Contribute to and work within the Communications Team to build meaningful internal amplification of external communications campaigns, building internal pride in the Benefit brand and business * Serve as an advisor to global business partners and corporate functional leaders including the People Team, DEI, CSR, Finance, Marketing and Regional Leadership on key initiatives and develop strategic communications plans * Contribute to key employer brand campaign strategies & creative briefs, including annual tentpole moments such as Pride and International Women’s Day, to ensure infusion of employee-led storytelling and internal communications priorities * Develop internal communications toolkits to be shared with markets globally in support of consistent messaging & execution * Strategize employee-led storytelling opportunities and work across the business to discover, curate and share compelling stories about our unique company DNA, our products, culture, and people Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be accepted.
* 5+ years work experience in communications or similar field Schedule: * Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly The target salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.

Core Responsibilities · Support the optimization of our internal communications channels and execute against a channel & content plan to ensure effective communication and reach across our hybrid and geographically distributed workforce · Help, develop & execute against an internal editorial/publication calendar in support of the global communications strategy * Contribute to and work within the Communications Team to build meaningful internal amplification of external communications campaigns, building internal pride in the Benefit brand and business * Serve as an advisor to global business partners and corporate functional leaders including the People Team, DEI, CSR, Finance, Marketing and Regional Leadership on key initiatives and develop strategic communications plans * Contribute to key employer brand campaign strategies & creative briefs, including annual tentpole moments such as Pride and International Women’s Day, to ensure infusion of employee-led storytelling and internal communications priorities * Develop internal communications toolkits to be shared with markets globally in support of consistent messaging & execution · Strategize employee-led storytelling opportunities and work across the business to discover, curate and share compelling stories about our unique company DNA, our products, culture, and people * Assist the Director, Global Internal Communications in the execution of internal events & employee engagement experiences, including Worldwide All-Hands, Global Team Town Halls, and the annual Global Leadership Conference * Contribute to ideating & executing employee engagement activities during monthly in-office “Think Pink Weeks” * Assist the global Executive Assistant Team in the development & management of a worldwide calendar of annual meetings & events to inform key communications touchpoints throughout the year * Strategize campaigns to build brand affinity and advocacy amongst employees; help build brand ambassadors program * Develop content that supports the talent recruitment strategy and drives candidate attraction, including sourcing & crafting posts for LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and LifeAtBenefit Instagram * Support the Associate Manager, Global Internal Communications to analyze performance of internal communications & employer brand platform metrics to surface insights around what moves the needle for Benefit employees * Provide regular reporting and performance analysis on internal communications & employer brand platform metrics · Identify opportunities to amplify content and news across various channels and outlets, and keep your finger on the pulse of internal chatter, as well as local, industry, and competitor news Complexity Supports complex issues, often that require a high-degree of confidentiality and/or in-depth knowledge of the company.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands · Able to work in a traditional office environment.
· Able to sit, stand, and use a personal computer for prolonged periods of time (6-8) hours · Ability to travel as needed Interactions This role will have international market team & some executive-level exposure and requires executive presence, respectful & professional people skills, strategic sensibility, and effective & clear communication.
Requirements Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience · Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience may be accepted.
· 5+ years work experience in communications or similar field Skills & Abilities * Exceptional written & verbal communication skills * Strong knowledge of internal communications, employee engagement, and internal tools & platforms * Direct experience working with leadership teams in employee communications, engagement and/or events * The ability to successfully create engaging and informative creative content to foster employee engagement and strengthen company culture * Experience partnering with employer brand teams to convert internal engagement into external recruitment marketing content * Experience with social content strategy across employer brand channels, including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Instagram, etc.
