THE ROLE:
This is a unique, high compensation upside opportunity as the first seller as we transition our business from “Founder-Led Sales” into building out a more traditional Enterprise and Mid-Market Sales motion.
This role will report to our Founder/CEO and will ramp into the role by managing initial deals in partnership with our agency’s C-Suite.
After ramp, this will be a quota carrying sales role responsible for owning deals autonomously to close.
Due to the large average contract values in our professional services sector (when compared to most SaaS), an experienced Enterprise Seller could feasibly hit their OTE in a two large deals each year and have uncapped commission upside thereafter.
We are looking for a “done it before” Enterprise Seller who is a consistent top performer, preferably because of their relationship-oriented approach with sophisticated buyers who are often Founders and/or C-Suite team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own sales cycle from start to finish; shepherd qualified leads through discovery, pitch, contract negotiation, and closing.
You’ll partner with the BDR, Executive, and Account Leadership teams as a driver of each stage of the sales cycle.
Manage and forecast a pipeline of prospects and leads, collaborate with Client Services and Marketing to refine qualification criteria
Support the broader organization towards meeting quarterly and annual sales revenue goals
Collaborate with others, such as Account Leadership, Marketing, and the Executive Team to identify prospective client needs and challenges
Share insights from prospects to support and improve our sales process
Required Qualifications:
Must be located in the Bay Area (San Francisco preferred).
We support remote work, but we expect our AE to regularly attend industry events around the Bay to generate pipeline
3+ years of experience in mid-market and/or enterprise sales, including managing deals that include multiple stakeholders and stages.
2+ years of enterprise sales closing experience (new business)
Ability to understand business requirements and organizational structure.
We sell into enterprise organizations that require complex navigation.
A track record of success; consistently performing in the top 25% of your team
Can handle large deals, are highly organized, and take coaching well
Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
Bamboo is early-stage and this is a founding AE role, so you’re comfortable learning new things (tech, process, team structure) and navigating high-change environments.
Have a "do what it takes" attitude, and a willingness to dive into problems and solve them yourself
Have a strong internal sense of urgency and a bias towards doing things today, rather than tomorrow
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Hubspot
Experience working in a startup environment
Someone who is a “relationship seller” at their core.

Salary:
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is $200,000-$240,000 annually in the Bay Area.
Base salary represents 50%, and commission represents the other 50%.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This is a full-time position.
