JOB OVERVIEW
The Coordinator, Marketing Operations will undertake a variety of activities to help the company move forward the energy transition.
This includes managing the industry conferences process, involving planning, execution, follow-up, and lead management.
This role will also support the organization with building lists that set up the team to increase deal velocity in priority markets and for priority business lines.
Data cleaning and CRM management provided by this person will ensure streamlined coordination and communication for the revenue-generating teams.
This role will support the Marketing team in other needed ways, including but not limited to executing lead generation/nurture campaigns, developing proposals, managing RFP processes or components thereof, delivering top-notch experiences to ForeFront Power customers, as well as organizing digital and physical Marketing assets.
This person will also professionally interface with external agencies, consultants, designers, and other vendors from time to time.
JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO This position will be based in our San Francisco office.
The Coordinator, Marketing Operations reports to the Manager, Marketing and works closely with the Sales team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Coordinator, Marketing Operations will report to the Marketing lead and focus on driving forward the following initiatives for the company to increase revenue, elevate the brand, and streamline team collaboration: Trade show and Conference Management: planning and managing trade show, conference and event strategy and participation; maintenance of the conference process tracker; coordination with various event organizers and industry associations; gathering sponsorship details for the team; utilizing best practices in project management so that all team members know how to best support the event; executing all relevant logistics, including registrations, booth items, payments, agreements, and other items as required.
Lead Management Support and Data Cleaning: sourcing priority companies, sites, and contacts, segmented by priority criteria identified by the team, such as interconnection capacity, permitting likelihood, parcel ownership, population, student body size, number of locations, creditworthiness, utility territory, incentive-related criteria, etc.
; creating and/or cleaning email lists; de-duplicating companies/contacts, associating companies; maintaining clean automation workflows as needed, etc.
Sales Support Inventory and Management: source new swag items as needed, maintain inventory in coordination with warehouse vendor partners, and support on campaign logistics as needed.
Digital File/Asset Maintenance: help organize visual assets and other files and folders in a manner that streamlines the process for the team.
Physical Storage Room Maintenance: manage Marketing’s physical assets in the San Francisco office space, ensuring that items are easily navigable, tidy, well-kept, and that items of value are appropriately safeguarded while keeping track of inventory.
Support other Marketing and Communications efforts as needed.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Suite, demonstrating action to grow proficiency.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
HubSpot preferred.
Ability to adapt to shifting assignments and pace due to varied internal deadlines and other marketing projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills Able to think strategically and work collaboratively with a team.
Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Solar or renewable energy industry experience a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The Coordinator, Marketing Operations must be able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably and safely, as there is a frequent need to transport and/or move items both in the office and at industry/customer events.
This person may be required to travel between 5% and 35% of their time.
