Position Summary: As the Business Development Director at WEP Clinical, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies for our services.
Your primary focus will be on OLE, EAP, and PA-NPP programs, but you'll also have the opportunity to generate leads for other services within our organization.
You will work closely with our Commercial Leadership team to drive new sales strategies and demand generation, all while maintaining our commitment to excellence and compliance.
The ideal candidate for this role is: Proactive A Proven Sales Professional A Problem Solver What You'll Do Enhance WEP Clinical’s service offerings to maintain best-in-class status.
Drive measurable sales growth and revenue generation within your assigned territory.
Manage Enterprise/Key Accounts to foster long-term partnerships.
Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
Engage with customers and suppliers to provide seamless product supply solutions.
Lead and support cross-functional selling opportunities.
Contribute to the development of relevant marketing collateral.
Represent the company professionally at conferences and industry events.
Collaborate in strategic commercial operations planning with Senior Leadership.
Own the development of proposals in response to RFPs.
Manage client contracts and work orders with the support of WEP’s Legal Counsel.
Coordinate account start-up and product delivery when new business is secured.
What You Need: Bachelor’s Degree (in a Science, Business, Pharmaceutical, or Finance field preferred).
10+ years of experience in sales with a proven track record of achieving yearly quotas and onboarding new clients.
Experience managing Enterprise/Key Strategic Accounts.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Contract and negotiation experience.
Pricing and finance skills and experience.
