The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the marketing team with 360-degree campaigns across channels including social media, influencer, public relations, digital and in-store.
You will collaborate with multiple cross-functional partners including Creative, Media, Social Media, PR and the Site and Email leads to ensure that marketing is implemented flawlessly.
Success in the role will be contingent on an ability to “story tell” to various audiences, leverage the brand’s myriad of resources, a strong knowledge of both consumers and prospects, a passion for children’s fashion and product details, curiosity around events in pop culture, a thoughtful eye on the competitive landscape, and an in-depth understanding of the evolving media and digital landscape.
The primary objective of the role will be to support the brand strategy of the business while reinforcing Janie and Jack’s brand positioning and mission to acquire and engage new and existing consumers, and drive sales across channels.
What you'll do: Support the marketing team to drive seasonal integrated marketing plans, while working with cross functional partners to bring brand strategies and priorities to life across all customer touch points.
Work in close partnership with Senior Manager to brief the development of creative and marketing concepts that can be executed across channels, in accordance with brand strategies, to meet business goal objectives.
Assist with influencer campaigns from start to finish including casting, briefs and lookbook creation, processing orders, tracking and reporting, invoice processing and PO building and more.
Place and track orders for PR/Media, influencer and social campaigns.
Assist with execution to support third party partnerships.
Assist with sending orders, content, calendar creation and more.
Assist with execution of in-store events and openings in collaboration with Senior Manager and PR Agency.
Assist Social Media Manager with content planning, content uploading, engagement, competitive scrape of social channels and overall growth of social media channels.
This could also include content creation.
Create lookbooks, product lists, and gather images for all marketing and PR needs.
Create weekly and monthly recaps for internal campaign reporting and seasonal hindsight.
Support coordination and execution of PR and influencer gifting programs.
Lead local in-store marketing and mall requests and briefs in collaboration with Senior Manager.
Monitor brand content and provide new store opening details or seasonal hour updates on sites such as Google Business, Yelp and others.
Assist with account setup, invoice processing and updating trackers.
What you'll bring: 2-3+ years relevant Marketing experience preferred.
Background in retail/fashion industry, direct to consumer, digitally native, or culturally relevant brands.
Undergraduate degree.
Fluency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Passion for social media and influencer marketing.
Proactive self-starter, strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively and build strong relationships with business partners.
Strong organizational skills, with ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with track record of flawless execution.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
Excellent communication skills – timely follow-up and ability to articulate objectives, strategies and tactics clearly across teams.
Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects.
