Summary of Responsibilities:
Principal point of contact for commercial opportunities in Western US, with emphasis on California and Nevada
Responsibilities include securing new project revenue, evaluating estimates and schedules, tracking bid results, and developing proposal language
Prepare responses to post-bid inquiries and assist with time-sensitive submittals and complex change orders
Consult with contractors on scope of work planning, ITB and RFP language, and subcontract agreements
Organize documents and participate in hospitality events to maintain client relationships
Build strategic alliances with regional competitors and local businesses.

Identify and deliver potential new clients and project opportunities.

- Compose highly detailed bid proposals, post-bid responses, etc.
- Understand the company s specific role (and history) in the commercial construction industry.
- Acquire a comprehensive understanding of steel fabrication, steel erection and its differing challenges.
- Absorb, visualize, anticipate and memorialize elements of high importance.
- Require less supervision with time and anticipate action steps ahead of requests.
Preferred Experience/Attributes:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Construction Industry or similar sales experience
Competent knowledge of building construction sequences, particularly steel fabrication and erection
Ability to read and understand design drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong administrative skills, and a fearless work ethic
