Job Description Summary: To effectively strategize, create and implement content in all See’s Candies social media and digital platforms.
Build the See’s brand through effective communication with existing customers as well as acquisition of new customers, leveraging unique and compelling content that represents the See’s brand on social and digital channels, including LinkedIn, X, Pinterest, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
The pay range for this position is expected to be $130k-$140k annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description: 1.
Strategize, plan, develop and manage marketing campaigns across social, digital and ecommerce channels.
2.
Develop and own a vision for social media strategy at See’s and deliver on engagement and awareness goals.
3.
Collaborate with retail, wholesale and merchandising partners to understand annual and seasonal business goals and to plan compelling social media programs in support of those goals.
4.
Partner with sales and marketing team to identify customer opportunities , develop segmentation and budget recommendations for advertising activities.
5.
Participate in annual planning to strategize and drive wholistic omni-channel campaigns.
6.
Assist content creator in all social content and assets for publishing.
Content must be compelling, on-brand and engaging (including but not limited to photo, video, copy) for publishing on See’s owned social channels, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn and TikTok.
7.
Adopt the Brand voice and write copy that speaks on behalf of See’s in all social and digital channels.
8.
While a promotional calendar is leveraged, agility to identify “on-the-fly” opportunities is required.
Showcase flexibility and creative thinking through real time and socially relevant posts.
Requires coaching an Associate Manager on photography and developing copy.
9.
Use social listening tools to identify content opportunities and present those opportunities to the team.
10.
Research and identify new social and digital media content trends; make recommendations to manager, as appropriate.
11.
Foster and maintain purposeful and influential relationships with senior leadership and internal partners (creative, retail, shops, wholesale, e-commerce, digital marketing, merchandising, etc.
).
12.
Directly manage team members who execute content creation and community management supporting them as needed.
13.
Directly manage Digital Strategist and external agency partners to optimize media plans, build efficiencies, and identify real-time amplification opportunities.
14.
Manage SEO and SEM efforts and agencies for See’s Candies.
15.
Oversees influencer marketing strategies in collaboration with external agency partners and supports celebrity partnerships.
16.
Implement measures to ensure effectiveness of content can be measured across all tactics; prepare and assess success of programs against Key Performance Indicators (KPI) 17.
Protect and manage the See’s Brand at all times.
18.
Perform special projects as assigned by management.
19.
Responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance technology and innovation that will enhance department effectiveness.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
4-5 years’ hands-on B2C social media management experience.
2.
Canva or Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) experience a plus.
3.
Demonstrated superior photography styling and video editing skills required.
4.
Social media copywriting experience for a brand.
5.
Working knowledge of relevant social platforms and current content practices.
6.
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented mind-set and ability to work in a fast paced, always-on social media environment.
7.
Highly organized self-starter who takes initiative; strong planning and project management skills.
8.
Strong relationship management skills, both internal and external 9.
Effective and efficient time management skills.
10.
Exceptional writing, design, and communication skills.
11.
Bachelor's degree required; equivalent related work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
12.
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, in addition to a full range of generous medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
