Job Description Summary: Effectively support the development, implementation, and management of all public relations efforts, communications and events.
This role participates in all sponsorships, charitable efforts, partnerships and activations.
It includes internal employee communications and some consumer facing messaging.
The pay range for this position is expected to be $80k-$95k annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Description: 1.
Strategizes and implements public relations efforts, corporate communications and events.
2.
Participates in developing and distributing communications related to product launches, store openings, activations, press releases, coverage tracking, crisis communications, and media outreach.
3.
Strategizes and supports all aspects of Public Relations efforts including pitching to publications, media response efforts, factory tours, and interviews.
4.
Researches and identifies partnership, sponsorship and event opportunities.
5.
Builds brand awareness through event marketing with responsibilities that include, but are not limited to: • Support of marketing events, both internal and external • Research and identify event marketing opportunities to ensure they create brand awareness, increase demand and drive revenue • Attend all events for on-site support and management (may include some weekends and travel may be required) • Participate in planning, organizing, and managing event logistics • Partner with manager and vendors to determine appropriate collateral, promotions, and staffing for each event 6.
Works closely with manager on drafting CEO’s communications, and prepping him for interviews and events.

Collaborates with retail, wholesale and ecommerce to identify key opportunities.
8.
Supports internal and external corporate communications.
9.
Supports gifting program to uphold key media, influecer and celebrity relationships.
10.
Reports on key performance indicators.
11.
Monitors all media coverage and summarizes into weekly and monthly reporting.
12.
Directly manages intern including hiring, day to day tasks, and review process.
13.
Protects and manages the See’s Brand at all times 14.
Performs special projects as assigned by management.
15.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
2-3 years of public relations, communications and event experience with a multi-channel retailer, preferably with annual sales in excess of $500M.

Strong problem-solving skills, detail-oriented mind-set and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
3.
Self-starter who takes initiative with strong planning and project management skills.
4.
Strong interpersonal skills.
5.
Experience managing and negotiating with partners/vendors.
6.
Proven ability to run successful campaigns.
7.
Experience working cross-functionally.
8.
Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
9.
Experienced in working with technology and monitoring programs such as Cision or Muck Rack.
10.
Experience and knowledge in working with social media platforms.
11.
Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner.
12.
