*Job Summary:*
The Solar Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in scaling our *sales operations by recruiting, building, and training a high-performing sales team dedicated to promoting residential solar solutions.
* This position requires a combination of strategic leadership, team management, and hands-on sales skills.
The ideal candidate will be accountable for achieving sales targets, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* *Recruitment and Team Building: *Identify, recruit, and hire top talent to build a skilled and motivated sales team.
* *Training and Development:* Develop comprehensive training programs to educate the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and industry trends.
Continuously mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and performance.
* *Sales Leadership:* Lead by example by actively engaging in sales activities, including prospecting, presentations, and closing deals.
Drive the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
* *Strategic Planning: *Collaborate with senior management to set sales goals, develop sales strategies, and implement plans to penetrate new markets and customer segments.
* *Performance Management:* Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies to address underperformance and recognize top achievers.
* *Customer Experience:* Ensure the sales team delivers an outstanding customer experience from initial contact through post-installation, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* *Market Analysis:* Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact sales strategies and customer buying behavior.
* *Collaboration and Reporting:* Work closely with other departments, including marketing, customer service, and installation, to ensure a seamless customer journey.
Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market insights, and challenges.
*Qualifications:*
* Must be actively selling, leading, and managing teams in the Solar Industry
* Proven track record of success in sales management in the solar or renewable energy industry.
* Must bring a large downline of Solar Sales representatives
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Deep understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship management, and market analysis.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing industry trends and regulations.
