* We have an immediate need for an *Industrial Technical Manager on the WTX Team* with 10-15 years of technical sales experience in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
* *This position is based in the Northern California territory and will require limited overnight travel.

* Strong selling skills including a demonstrated ability to close new sales are essential.
Education requirement: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or other technical degree.

*Key Job Tasks *
* Establishes new accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedules via cold calling, lead generation, networking and strategic partnerships.
* Work collaboratively with our IPG division in developing new and existing opportunities.
* Drive and manage territory revenue and profit growth in understanding territory financial data and expense management.
* Maintain face-to-face contact with customers and develop multi-level and cross functional relationships with key customers.
* Work with logistics on ordering, warehousing, and cost control for all products as well as working to manage costs (product, freight, labor, etc.
) to maximize profit margins.
* Serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services through onsite testing of water/wastewater treatment products and water treatment service programs.
* Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport and acceptance with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements and operational improvements.
* Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
* Prepares cost estimates by studying all related trail data, customer documents, consulting with engineers, and other professional personnel.
* Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
* Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
* Prepares service reports by collecting and analyzing data based on onsite product testing and regular service visits.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies to build a reputation as an “industry expert”.
* Prepare and give technical presentations to explain to customers how our products and services work.
* Establish and encourage a culture of safety and respect at each customer site.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $84,547.
00 - $120,000.
