*About the Role* PATH is searching for a *Route Sales Representative* in the *Bay Area* to join our team.
The Route Sales Representative is responsible for providing great service to our customers by ensuring customers are in-stock and serviced as scheduled.
This role sells and delivers PATH products to our customers.
The RSR is responsible for growing assigned route sales by securing new customers, growing existing customer sales, and retaining existing customers.
This position will require you to drive your personal vehicle 50-60 miles per day in your assigned territory.
Mileage may vary depending on where you live in comparison to the territory.
No car allowance is provided; however, mileage for travel will be reimbursed.
Company vehicles will be used to deliver products to accounts as needed.
*Location: *Bay Area, CA (South San Jose, North San Francisco, & East Bay) * 15% travel outside the state to attend product exhibitions or special sale’s projects.
*Compensation* * $25/hour + Car Allowance * A Performance based incentive shall be paid as per company policy.
*Responsibilities* * The primary responsibility is to visit existing & new customers on route and maintain inventory levels by properly merchandising and generating new orders while up-selling new products * Services accounts by delivering products to customers * Handling customer issues and complaints and referring these issues, as appropriate, to management * Preparing and uploading all orders on Salesforce-CRM software * Submitting orders to relevant distributors or Sales manager to fulfill * Regular follow up of distributor’s reps to ensure the product delivery to ordering accounts * Maintaining & opening new customers in the assigned territory * Routinely visit accounts for re-orders and take inventory * Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads * Evaluate customer needs and build productive long lasting relationships * Have a thorough knowledge of all decision makers in each account * Maintain a high level of industry knowledge * Support the rotating and merchandising of product * Accomplish sales goals by executing the monthly, quarterly and annual business objectives * Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times *Qualifications* * Minimum two (2) year previous sales experience in beverage industry is required * Valid driver's license and auto insurance required * Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle (non-Commercial Driver License) in all weather conditions * General knowledge of industry products * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Effective organizational and time management skills * Ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers * Lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 lbs * Use arms, wrists, hands, grasp * Competence in Google Suite and Microsoft Suite.
