We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven *Outside Sales - Design Consultant* with expertise in custom drapery and window coverings for the San Jose, CA, and Bay Area region.
This role demands strong analytical and technical skills, swift decision-making, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
The successful candidate will guide luxury clients through custom window treatment selections, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Must have 2 years experience in in-home window covering sales to be considered.
*Salary: *Base salary of *$70k plus commission with $95k first-year earning potential*, and _no commission cap_.
Moving stipend available.
*Key Responsibilities*
* *Specify:* Educate clients on window treatment options, measure, and quote using software to prepare estimates while negotiating the next steps of the client's project.
* *Service:* Proactively follow up with unsold opportunities and sold clients after installations to ensure satisfaction and develop long-term relationships.
* *Sell:* Actively seek new opportunities to build a book of loyal followers and referral accounts to increase the company's market share.
*We are looking for…*
* *2+ years of in-home sales* with custom window treatment experience (REQUIRED).
* Exceptional understanding of measuring and proficiency in using measuring tools.
* Someone with strong interpersonal skills who will connect with customers by listening and synthesizing their needs.
* A driven, detail-oriented problem -solver who is not just committed to getting the job done– but also to doing it the right way.
* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
* Valid CA Driver's License.
