The Regional Account Executive - Transplant maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers within Transplant centers and/or associated with a Transplant prescriber network.

Locations Sought: Los Angeles, & San Franciso, CA - $100,000 to 131,500 New York, New York - $100,000 to $122,000 Boston Area, MA 02458 Charlotte Area, NC Jacksonville Area, FL Boston Area, MA Phoenix Area, AZ Amber Specialty Pharmacy Job Title: Regional Account Executive, Transplant Department: Sales FLSA: Exempt General Functions The Regional Account Executive - Transplant maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers within Transplant centers and/or associated with a Transplant prescriber network.
Additional responsibilities include representing the entire range of Amber Specialty Pharmacy services to customers and meeting customer needs and expectations.
Reporting Relations Reports to: Transplant Sales Manager Direct Reports: None Primary Responsibilities: Develop productive, professional relationships, in Transplant centers, with key decision makers, providing consultation and education while promoting services to nurses, physicians and staff.
Seek opportunities to develop new relationships and utilize existing relationships to increase our patients and revenue by promoting Amber Specialty Pharmacy’s best-in-class 25 year heritage in servicing Transplant patients.
This is a field based position with primary focus on face-to-face meetings.
Additional customer engagement will include the use of phone, email, conferences, and other methods to win new business and strengthen and grow existing relationships and customer loyalty.
Develop assigned Transplant territory to achieve and exceed territory quota.
Maintain knowledge of current relationships and inform necessary team members and managers about all client or customer complaints.
Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs and customer satisfaction on an ongoing basis and make recommendations on service level improvements.
Serve as a liaison and coordinate the involvement of company staff in order to meet account performance objectives, resolve service issues, and ensure customer expectations are met, resulting in high customer satisfaction ratings.
Exhibit and/or attend, local and national trade shows and conferences to promote Amber.
Support the Transplant Sales Manager as needed, including client visits, mailings, etc.
Maintain an awareness of developments and industry trends in the transplant industry.
Assist with client communication needs – i.
e.
, payer/plan coverage, drug shortage, new generic options Submit monthly expense reports and maintain set budget within Amber for travel and expenses.
Abide by guidelines of appropriate gifts, giveaways and lunches to clients and prospects.
Attend Client Services meetings at the corporate office and via teleconference as needed.
Work closely with Marketing to order supplies for daily use and trade shows, direct mailers, marketing pieces and ideas that can promote Amber’s services to patients Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years strong sales experience with documented success.
Prior working knowledge in two of the three areas: Transplant Sales, Specialty Pharmacy, Managed Care Working knowledge of the healthcare industry HIPAA trained and /or the ability to work with and protect extremely confidential patient and employee information Ability to travel approximately 50% of time Professional Competencies: Driven, self-starter with a hunter mindset Proficient with MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams Attention to detail with emphasis on organizational skills Strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines Ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors Proactive problem-solving skills combined with excellent interpersonal, judgment, negotiation, analytic, communication and account management skills.
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a related field Physical Requirements: Ability to be in the assigned territory on a daily basis Ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours a day Licensure Requirements: Valid driver’s license must be maintained Equipment Used to Perform the Job: Computers, keyboards, mouse, monitors, fax, and/or headsets for phone work.
Software specific to the position, including but not limited to Microsoft, Salesforce, and Skype.
Reliable transportation for a field based role traveling to customer sites on a daily basis Contacts: Frequently interact with co-workers, intradepartmental staff of the company, managers, leaders, vendors, and customers.
