Position Description:
Clif Family is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales and Marketing Coordinator.
In this role, your responsibilities will span a diverse range of tasks, from assisting in the development and execution of marketing programs to supporting sales activity with membership customers and providing critical support to our B2B sales department.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent communication skills, and has a keen interest in the world of wine and specialty food.
This is a hybrid position, requiring you to be in the office 3+ days per week and offering flexibility for remote work on the remaining days.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in addressing Membership customer inquiries and needs.
Support Live Chat and Channel Inbox for Customer Service interactions.
Assist in maintaining and updating the CRM system to track customer interactions, leads, and sales opportunities.
Collaborate with the Winemaker and Operations Director to update and maintain accurate information on wine and food fact sheets.
Coordinate sample shipments for sales and marketing purposes, including media and influencer outreach.
Attend and support Membership events and tastings as needed to foster relationships and enhance membership retention.
Process wholesale orders & sample requests and submit them to operations and finance departments.
Communicate with clients and confirm orders on Faire platform.
Keep Faire shipping matrix and product information up to date.
Keep relevant materials up to date, including wholesale department SOPs, confirmation emails, menus, and order forms.
Collaborate with the sales team to update and enhance food and wine sell sheets, aligning with marketing strategies.
Maintain wholesale and gifting invoice spreadsheets.
Correspond with Virtual and Gifting clients regarding tasting confirmations, invoices, tracking information, and order adjustments.
Work with Virtual and Gifting clients on any mis-shipments, redirects, and add-ons to orders.
Update Gifting Portal with new SKUs and create storefronts for corporate clients as needed.
Participate in Social Selling to drive brand awareness and potential leads across all departments.
Attend regular meetings across gifting, virtual tastings, wholesale, membership, and marketing departments to ensure alignment and cohesion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and logistics, to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to business objectives.
Assist in coordinating various projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Undertake various tasks as assigned by the manager to contribute to the overall success of the sales and marketing departments.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Previous experience in marketing, sales, or customer service, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
Knowledge of wine and specialty food products is a plus.
Familiarity with Commerce7 software, QuickBooks Enterprise, and Avalara software is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must be comfortable working on feet for extended periods.
Must be able to work both inside and outside in varied weather conditions.
Available to work weekends, holidays, and as required for special events and activities.
Ability to lift 40-50 lbs.
