The California Lottery is a multi-billion-dollar enterprise headquartered in Sacramento.

Lottery products are sold at more than 23,000 retail locations throughout the state, from independent neighborhood shops to convenience stores, liquor stores to supermarkets, and more.
Retail product offerings include an average of 52 fun and entertaining Scratchers games and several draw games, including jackpot games such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and SuperLotto Plus, and daily games such as Fantasy 5 and Hot Spot.
*Job Description and Duties:*
Within the State of California, Key Accounts Specialists (KAS) develop and maintain relationships with key accounts to secure participation as Lottery retailers and serve as liaison with retail trade organizations.
They identify and recruit potential key accounts and promote Lottery products and programs to these accounts.
KAS also serve as liaison between the Lottery and retailers, working with executive level personnel in the largest retail stores and chains of stores to develop, promote and monitor the sales of Lottery tickets and games.
They also develop and make presentations to executive/corporate personnel to promote Lottery programs and encourage participation.
Designing and conducting presentations and training for each new game or game feature is also a core task.
*This position requires a current Key Accounts Specialist exam.

*Desirable Qualifications*
* Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing, including experience delivering compelling proposals, reports, and status updates to various audiences.
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills that drive productivity and create sales opportunities.
* Strong analytical skills.
Solid understanding of sales tracking metrics, with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.
* Comprehensive knowledge and professional command of the sales process.
* Experience using technology (including smartphones, tablets, and computers) to facilitate sales in-office and out in the field.
* Proficiency with Microsoft suite of programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
* A background in marketing and advertising; lottery, gaming, entertainment, and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) preferred.
* Bilingual skills are desirable, but not required.
