H/L is looking for Creative (Art Director and Copywriter) interns this summer in our Oakland office in Jack London Square.
The Internship Program is anticipated to begin June 18th through August 13th.
This opportunity offers a wealth of experience in digital and broadcast production, brand building, social media strategy and production, script writing, art direction, and learning the ropes at a rapidly growing agency.
While this internship is open to all, we especially encourage BIPOC applicants looking to shake things up and build their portfolios with actual produced Creative work for national and global brands.
Learning Opportunities
Tackle learn-by-doing Creative assignments in Social Media, Broadcast, Digital, Streaming Audio and other forms of advertising
Learn the Agency business from seasoned pros
Gain experience on real projects with real budgets and plenty of guidance
Desired Skills and Competencies
Interest and some demonstrated talent in Journalism, Creative Writing, Art, Graphic Design, Video Production, or related field—show us what has gotten you this far, and we’ll help you take it to the next level
Zero to four years of portfolio school or university creative program.
Previous training is a plus, but not a requirement—this is about new ideas and changing the status quo
Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop is ideal for the Jr.
