Position Summary Ava Community Energy seeks to hire a full-time Content Strategist.
The successful candidate will be a communications professional with exceptional skills in writing and strategic storytelling for a variety of channels and audiences.
The ideal candidate is a communicator, collaborator, and storyteller.
They are experienced at understanding our audience and crafting engaging content that drives business impact.
As a versatile professional, they will be responsible for developing compelling copy for various mediums, including website content, video scripts, presentations, brochures, email marketing campaigns, newsletters, video captions, social media posts, and more.
Position Details Essential Duties and Responsibilities Hone and apply the Ava Community Energy brand voice across media and platforms.
Develop and apply brand editorial guidelines.
Help develop, maintain and execute a comprehensive editorial calendar.
Develop creative content to match business objectives for a variety of channels, including websites, social media, print, video, and presentations.
Develop and manage writing concepts from strategy through execution.
Review all types of materials for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
Liaise and consult with internal teams to ensure accurate and consistent expression of the primary brand, including brand identity, voice and tone and related positioning and messaging Work closely with the marketing team to optimize copy for search engine optimization (SEO) and conversion rate optimization (CRO) Other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or minimum of four years of progressively responsible and relevant work experience.
Ability to copywrite and proofread all types of materials for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
Experience writing exceptional strategy-aligned content for a variety of channels to meet business objectives; Background in communications, messaging, writing, public relations Experience in converting technical information into concise, relevant content for targeted audiences.
Ability to translate complex issues and formulate creative content recommendations to reach a wide variety of audiences.
Ability to manage and direct projects which require leadership and autonomy.
Experience with AP writing style.
Confidence in ability to independently manage multiple projects at once, partner cross-functionally to prioritize requests, navigate ambiguous situations and move ideas forward; Multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position is $114,334, with a Total Compensation of up to $128,054 annually based on performance.
