Position Purpose
Under minimal supervision, the Senior Brand Analyst supports the Marketing department with tools and analytics to help grow Delicato’s strong portfolio of brands.
This position develops and maintains a suite of analytical tools and reports used by the Marketing team to inform performance, strategy and growth opportunities.
The Senior Brand Analyst also assesses information needs, proposes methodologies, conducts analyses, interprets results, and delivers findings to key stakeholders.
This position requires a high level of collaboration with the Marketing team and our external business partners.
Essential Duties Owns a suite of standard business reports to help the Marketing team understand category, brand and retailer trends; responsible for maintaining, updating and delivering these reports on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and on time delivery Leads data analyses to support the Marketing team’s business needs; develops insights and recommendations to drive brand growth and gain market share Understands consumer panel data and delivers insights to input into brand strategy and development of best in class data driven marketing selling tools Provides the Marketing team with a set of analyses and insights that are critical to Delicato’s annual brand planning process Assists with advanced custom analytics projects to measure the effectiveness of sales and marketing activities Suggests, develops, and supports company and brand-specific marketing claims Responsible for auditing syndicated data sources ensuring quality and accuracy of the data; leads efforts to communicate and correct data issues Provides training for members of the Marketing team to increase knowledge and usage of key analytic tools Builds collaborative relationships with the Marketing team, as well as external business partners, to more effectively solve problems together Attends and participates in divisional and national sales meetings *Other duties may be assigned Non-Essential Duties *Other duties may be assigned Minimum Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Statistics, Data Science, or related field 5+ years of relevant business analysis experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Fluent in Nielsen/IRI scan data analytics; basic knowledge of household panel and loyalty card data Strong skills in various tools and platforms required; strength in Excel, PowerPoint, multi-dimensional tables, and ability to report, graph and present complex information Strong analytical and data management skills with the ability to translate data into insights and clear actionable recommendations Understands the CPG industry, retail and on-premise channels and strategies, brand and shopper marketing concepts Demonstrated ability to develop and grow internal and external business relationships Ability to effectively work and collaborate within a team structure Strong project management skills and ability to plan and prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment Solid business acumen and problem-solving skills Commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement Working Conditions General office environment with occasional travel Required to drive automotive vehicle or equipment Work Standards Acts in a manner reflective of the Company culture of High Moral Standards, Innovation and Continuous Evolution, Trust in Team, Continuous Improvement, and Sustainable Relationships Communicates, interacts, and works effectively with others; receptive to feedback and coaching; voices concerns in a constructive manner Demonstrates commitment to safety first; communicates safety concerns; promotes a safe work environment based on established safety standards and training Follows all Company policies and procedures Additional Comments Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position at any time.

The pay range for this position is $74,130.

Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
