The Opportunity As the leader of the Integrated Marketing team in Global Marketing, this role will Oversee all outbound marketing and advertising to ensure flawless development and execution of world-class integrated marketing communications that build our brand and drive market leadership across all consumer segments Lead a team of integrated (consumer & HCP) marketers and managers that will be responsible for ensuring that everything we put out into the world as global marketing organization weave together product excellence, global consumer insights, and local market needs Operate as a critical point of connection between NPI and area marketing teams What You'll Work On Lead the development of marketing strategies and collateral development across consumer and HCP audience needs in support of product launches (toolkits, packaging, naming), in close collaboration with NPI and commercial marketing teams.
Responsible for developing and executing integrated advertising campaigns for global stakeholders in support of brand and business objectives.
Responsible for collaboration with and leadership of all GSM integrated marketing agency partners for cross-channel planning and integration of all marketing program deliverables.
Lead strategic and operational partnership with Global Market Insights counterparts in steering consumer insights, market research and marketing measurement frameworks to ensure continual optimization and evolution of global marketing practices.
Ensure ongoing, seamless bi-directional communications and coordination with Area marketing partners in support of ongoing product launches, market expansion and demand generation opportunities.
Lead global diabetes congress and tradeshow strategic and creative execution in partnership with Area marketing and NPI partners.
Design and drive global integrated campaign creative development, production, distribution and transcreation processes.
Manage a full-stack marketing communications team including campaign managers, consumer marketing and HCP marketing experts KEY SUCCESS FACTORS Deep marketing, advertising, and diabetes experience and expertise Ability to influence a variety of internal and external customers at all levels High learning agility, adaptability, and comfort with complexity and ambiguity High customer centricity / customer-first orientation Ability to turn data into marketing intelligence and action-oriented analysis Clearly communicating overall Marketing vision and strategy, and distilling to Area marketing teams Working collaboratively with cross-functional partners to facilitate continuous brand and marketing innovations Accurately analyzing the key strengths and development needs of team members, both individually and as a total team, to identify critical development actions Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience Minimum 10 years of related work experience Preferred Qualifications Master’s Degree, MBA preferred Extensive experience with strategic marketing.
Professional Marketing Certification is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
Strong analytical and project management skills.
Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred.
Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to set goals and provide positive and constructive feedback respectfully to build positive relationships and improve business results.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment.
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner.
Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable.
Ability to travel approximately 25%.
