About the Team You will be part of the In-House Digital Advertising team responsible for developing strategies and optimizing William-Sonoma, Inc.
's digital spend across all 8 Brands and International efforts.
This role leads the Search and Shopping efforts across one or more of Williams-Sonoma, Inc.
’s (WSI) portfolio of Brands.
About the Role As an Analyst - Search Engine Marketing, you will directly manage Paid Search and Shopping Campaigns and execute day to day tactics to increase revenue, site traffic, and conversion, and maximize return on ad spend for 1+ Brands.
You will manage budgets including revenue and spend forecasts, and deliver regular reports, analysis, and insights to measure and improve marketing program effectiveness.
You will also manage seasonal keyword builds and audits, campaign testing, promotion execution, daily bid optimization, and audience strategy/ targeting.
This role reports to the Manager, SEM.
Responsibilities Plan, manage, and execute paid search/ PPC, and Shopping campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, implementation of strategies in tool, campaign structure, budget management, and daily target optimization.
Collaborate with partner teams from WSI vendors, platforms, and agencies in recommending and executing cutting edge ecommerce marketing strategies.
Keyword analysis: Build seasonal keyword lists, analyze search volume, and make recommendations to Marketing and Brand partners.
Execute on Shopping strategies and implement updates based on product launches.
Support Google Merchant Promotions.
Deliver weekly and ad hoc search performance reports to Marketing team and Brand partners.
Test betas working closely with Manager and report on results to Marketing / Brand teams.
Participate in weekly meetings with Marketing partners to review SEM performance, and priorities.
Criteria BS/BA Required or equivalent work experience 1-2 years experience in online marketing with a focus on SEM campaign management, or equivalent experience SEM bid management platform experience a plus (Kenshoo, Search Ads 360) Google Adwords professional (GAP) and other SEM platforms certified a plus Strong MS Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis) Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to synthesize technical detail and communicate across the organization Knowledge of a site analytics tool a plus (Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics) Enjoys working with others as part of a team Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work in a fast-paced environment This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office #LI-LG1 We believe in People First We firmly believe that working in a culture focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion spurs innovation, creates healthy and high-performing teams, and delivers superior customer experiences.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $65,000 - $77,000.
Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets.
