Corning & Company provides a comprehensive suite of services, including production, packaging, storage, compliance, warehousing, logistics, and route to market solutions, to beverage alcohol brands.
We are at the forefront of the rapidly growing spirits industry and are looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities: * Report directly to the President and CEO and collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute on sales strategies * Act as a self-starter, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals * Identify and target potential clients for our platform services, encompassing production, packaging, storage, compliance, logistics, and route to market solutions * Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry * Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research * Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients * Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of client projects * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape * Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize performance * Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company Requirements: * 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the spirits industry or a similar sector, including packaging or warehousing * Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets * Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our services * Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders * Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team * In-depth knowledge of the distillery industry, including production processes, compliance regulations, and distribution networks, is highly desirable * Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools * Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required What We Offer: * Competitive compensation and benefits packages * A dynamic and supportive work environment * Long-term opportunities based on performance and business needs If you are a driven and ambitious professional with a passion for sales and business development in the spirits industry, and possess the self-starting qualities necessary to work independently, we would love to hear from you.
