We are at the forefront of the rapidly growing spirits industry and are looking for a talented and motivated Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
* Report directly to the President and CEO and collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute on sales strategies
* Act as a self-starter, demonstrating initiative and the ability to work independently to achieve sales goals
* Identify and target potential clients for our platform services, encompassing production, packaging, storage, compliance, logistics, and route to market solutions
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry
* Actively seek out new business opportunities through networking, industry events, and market research
* Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to potential clients
* Negotiate and close contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the seamless execution of client projects
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape
* Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making and optimize performance
* Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, preferably within the spirits industry or a similar sector, including packaging or warehousing
* Proven track record of successfully generating leads, closing deals, and achieving sales targets
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our services
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
* Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* In-depth knowledge of the distillery industry, including production processes, compliance regulations, and distribution networks, is highly desirable
* Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required
