Role Description: Salesforce Events & Brand Technology is looking for a Senior Event Technology Specialist for the team, focusing on Salesforce+, our proprietary events platform.
You will get a chance to run some of the best digital events in the world, getting an insiders' view into why Salesforce events are the industry benchmark for experiential marketing, all while providing guidance to our strategic events partners on how best to use Salesforce+ to meet their needs.
Your Impact: Success will be measured by the ability of the Senior Specialist to lead the associated teams to deliver on the vision, scope & success factors of the Salesforce+ event technology program, on-schedule with a high level of quality, while going above and beyond of the program customers: Lead the operational backbone of deploying all aspects of digital event technology at our events by improving scalable & completely documented processes (program management playbook, engagement models, standard operating procedures) and flexible staffing models that address the spiky schedule of events.
Actively manage relationships with certain Salesforce+ event technology vendors and evaluate vendor performance, recommending changes appropriately (Kaltura, IBM, Vidyard) Function as the relationship partner for customers of the events and brand experience platform as they onboard their series or events onto the platform.
Partner with event technology program team to ensure all documented processes and procedures are closely adhered to, kept up to date and continually improved based on feedback.
Build and/or own the event schedule or Salesforce+ schedule as it pertains to technology (what set of global events in the fiscal year will be on the platform) For every event or broadcast assigned in the portfolio, articulate the success factors, build the appropriate program structure, and bring together the technology and marketing teams vital to complete the vision of the event by crafting realistic program schedules & timelines, track and address blockers to milestone achievement and drive team to achieving said milestones.
Manage customers on programs by understanding what is important to each one, balancing opposing objectives and articulating points of contention with a goal to resolve them.
Support all customers by communicating clearly, often and through multiple mediums (meeting facilitation, emails, Slack posts, presentations) regarding status of the various programs.
Executive-level differentiated communication is a requirement.
Proactively identify and lead programs risks and issues, while always being open with customers about the risk posture of the program.
Clearly articulate, track and implement all quality gates like QA complete, UAT hand-off, dry runs, executive sign-off, product releases, etc.
in accordance with processes & procedures.
Lead all aspects of Salesforce+ event technology deployment end to end for events including intake of request, coordination of all teams to provision technology, communication of technology readiness, quality checks, contingency plans, day of execution and post event data reporting including lessons learned.
All processes must align with documented processes and procedures - where gaps exist processes should be updated.
Function as key on-site or remote point of contact for either portion of or entirely of Salesforce+ technology deployed for an event.
Accountable for implementing the incident and communication plan at each event or broadcast, making quick decisions to mitigate issues.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,200 to $150,200.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
