Will participate in customer visits with Association Lenders, providing structuring and pricing advice as well as coordinating efforts between all parties in order to achieve accurate and timely service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Provides guidance including conducting leasing and sales meetings, training, and development programs for staff.
Generates business development by calling on prospects and conducting sales calls, working with outside groups, and by representing the Association at public meetings.
Provides leasing expertise and participates in community and designated industry functions.
Responsible for providing lease pricing and structuring to the Association’s lending staff.
Conduct negotiations with sensitive, large, complex, or non-typical leases.
Monitor and follow up on problem leases and recommend appropriate action.
Coordinate application efforts between the Association’s leasing and sales staff.
Communicate and promote the availability of other financially related services.
Manages relationships with outside equipment vendors to drive consistent business flow.
Coordinates with the Associations leasing partners to document and fund leases Perform other functions assigned.
LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED: Provides guidance and training to leasing staff; makes independent decisions; works under administrative direction of Leadership as applicable.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS degree in agricultural science, agricultural production, agribusiness or related fields.
Minimum of 10 years of agriculture production experience.
Provides guidance and training to leasing staff as applicable.
Comprehensive knowledge of agriculture lease financing for buildings and equipment.
Experience with and the ability to understand cash flow management.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of local industries served and the cycles that these industries face.
Demonstrated ability to generate highly accurate work and make independent decisions.
Must be proficient in organizing and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional persuasive and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in use of PC, including word-processing, e-mail and electronic spreadsheet software.
Comprehensive knowledge of the customer’s sales cycle Willingness to travel multiple days per week with some occasional overnight stays.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks, work in an office or outdoor setting and be able to sit at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time.
This job regularly requires the employee to visit job sites and must be able walk, sit, crouch, kneel, crawl, reach and be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Ability to navigate around construction equipment and business materials is required.
Must have the ability to walk for some distance, more than a mile, during or getting to an inspection.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team.
Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job.
Some travel required and must have a valid C Class driver’s license.
Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
PART-TIME REMOTE/HYBRID: These employees will work partly remote and partly onsite.
Part-time remote employees will work with their managers to determine when and how often they are needed onsite.
PAY RANGE: Minimum $153,072.
83 - Max $220,424.
89 Annual This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate.
American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
All hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States.
