The Opportunity: About Merchandising at Sephora: Our merchandising team is constantly building brands, starting trends, and developing entirely new product categories.
These experts roll up their sleeves and advise our brands on the best way to bring our clients what they crave—and what they will be craving soon.

Your role at Sephora: As a Merchant for .
com, you will be responsible for driving the online sales for the brands and the category you oversee.
Reporting to the Director of Merchandising for .
com, you will: Own brand portfolio.
Develop and execute online strategy to drive sale sales through owned marketing channels, inclusive of email, site, and mobile.
Regularly report out on performance.
Maintain strong relationships with brands, retail merchants, marketing, and e-commerce team in order to negotiate and implement strategies for online channel.
Work closely with brands to review business and strategies to maximize online sales, inclusive of additional dotcom-only products, conversion-driving product page assets, and incremental marketing opportunities.
Partner with inventory team to review brand budgets, forecast newness, and maintain dotcom productivity goals.
Work with e-commerce team regularly on site enhancements and special projects.
Develop, mentor, and train Assistant Merchant and Merchandise Coordinator.
Maintain expertise in online merchandising and related best practices by staying current with trends and competition.

We’re excited about you if you have: Minimum 5+ years retail merchant/ buyer level experience Online merchandising or marketing experience strongly preferred High level of initiative, able to work independently on multiple projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively operate with high energy and flexibility in a constantly evolving team environment Exemplary analysis and problem-solving resolution at a strategic, financial and tactical level Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to work and lead cross functionally to resolve issues quickly and effectively Very proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to travel The annual base salary range for this position is $93,840.
00 - $124,830.
00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
