Position Purpose
The Annual Giving Manager works collaboratively with the Individual Giving team and is responsible for driving strategy and providing an exceptional donor experience for Friends-level donors ($125-$2,499).
This position is accountable for meeting budgeted goals and focuses on strategically expanding the Friends-level membership program, with an emphasis on growing contributed revenue and strengthening the donor pipeline.
The Annual Giving Manager also helps foster an organizational culture of stewardship and gratitude by managing donor benefit fulfillment and maintaining donor recognition listings.
This is a hybrid position, with a combination of in-person and remote work, and must reside in the Bay Area.

Responsibilities (please note, this list is not exhaustive, but rather a representation of job duties)
Managing the Friends of A.
C.
T.
giving program, including stewarding, cultivating, and soliciting a portfolio of Friends-level donors ($125-$2,499) and prospects
Developing meaningful connections and donor relationships through stewardship and gift solicitation
Driving growth for Friends of A.
C.
T.
, including developing and executing comprehensive data- driven campaigns and strategies for acquisition and retention
Sharing prompt and meaningful gratitude with Friends-level donors
Works in partnership with the Associate Director of Individual Giving on donor prospecting to build a strong individual giving pipeline and ensure a meaningful and seamless moves management experience for donors
Maintaining accurate records in Tessitura, including contact reports and moves management tracking
In collaboration with the Deputy Director of Development and Associate Director of Individual Giving, developing and implementing a calendarized annual plan for cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for the Friends level donor segment
Project managing annual fund campaigns, solicitation mailings, and stewardship and cultivation pieces, including working with the mail house to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality collateral is prepared and delivered
Managing annual benefit fulfillment, ensuring donors receive accurate benefits in a timely fashion, including coordinating cross-departmentally and arranging tangible deliverables
Maintaining membership management in Tessitura to ensure donors are credited and recognized at their respective giving levels
Responsibility for donor recognition listings, ensuring accurate listings in all materials and publications

Assisting with other Development projects and duties as assigned

Demonstrated skill in understanding of cultural differences.
2-3 years of fundraising experience and a proven track record of soliciting donations
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful annual fundraising campaigns
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines
