Hairetics Salon (aka The Witches of 7th Street) are in search of a part-time front desk expert.
Specifically, someone talented in customer service who is also longing to bask in all that is the business of hair design, with a magical twist.

Responsibilities: * Guest services - you will be the first impression of our salon, representing us and providing our guests with an exceptional experience that sets us apart from other salon companies .
All interactions will be professional AND we encourage you to let your whimsical and/or magical side show.
* Sales - educating guests on available services, home care products, booking future appointments, and assisting team with retail sales.
Closing transactions using salon systems (Vagaro POS) and protocols.
* All forms of communication - phone, emails, on-line, and in-person interactions.
For example, scheduling or rescheduling appointments with precision and care, answering phones and emails promptly and professionally, greeting and checking in/out clients focusing on their experience, assisting Social Media Manager with Hairetics’ social media presence (Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, newsletters, etc).
* You’ll also be maintaining the harmony and the cleanliness of the salon, sweeping up hair, watering plants, washing dishes, putting away laundry, and occasionally wrangling your fellow witches.
* Placing product/supply orders and updating inventory.
Updating other general reports in Google Sheets.
*Requirements:* * 1+ yrs of customer service & sales experience required * Clear, kind, and timely verbal communication * Organizational skills and ability to suggest improvements to streamline current processes.
* Comfortable with technology, especially with data entry and some proficiency with Mac computers and Google Suite.
(Vagaro POS system a plus!) * Knowledge and experience with various social media & productivity platforms.
* Ability to multitask and manage time well without supervision.
* Attentive to guests and coworkers, able to proactively assess and jump in where needed.
* Proactive problem solver able to identify issues early and break them down to easily solve.
* Able to work Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 9:30am- 3:30pm.
*Compensation:* * Pay is $20/hr with performance driven increases up to $22.
00/hour.

Usually 18-24 hrs per week.
We are an education based salon and work with Redken, Pureology, & Mizani products.
