ABOUT THE POSITION The Principal Site Operations Specialist will help manage the execution of the overall eCommerce business strategy for the Mountain Hardwear websites in the US and Canada.
This role will contribute to the growth, profitability, and innovation of our sites through collaboration with cross-functional team leaders using a consumer-first, data-driven mindset.
The individual will achieve results by working to craft, optimize and evolve a best in class eCommerce website.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE Manages day to day operations of the site, including: content slotting, translations management, promotion and campaign set-up, site search dictionaries, SEO improvements, and backend site maintenance.
Develops plans to support consumer shopping, product, brand, digital marketing, and ad hoc corporate needs.
Balances priorities and problem solves the best consumer experience possible while supporting the business.
Writes creative briefs for site content and signs off on all content request tickets.
Fields questions and provides insightful, actionable data to the design teams.
Works with technology teams, distribution centers and customer care to ensure all areas of customer experience and order fulfilment meet Mountain Hardwear brand and business objectives.
Analyzes key product categories, growth areas, site features, and integrated campaigns to generate ideas to improve engagement, revenue, and repeat visitors.
Manages department calendars, ensuring all details are complete, up-to-date, and communicated to cross-functional stakeholders.
Reviews product releases and performs quality assurance testing.
Assists with signoff for all site content, support tickets and platform changes.
YOU ARE Passionate about the outdoors, camping, hiking, and climbing.
Knowledgeable about the B2C Retail Environment An online shopper, familiar with best practices in an eCommerce experience.
YOU HAVE A Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically requires 8+ years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud or related eCommerce platform Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager or other digital content management systems Strong analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics Strong experience with collaborating with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities Strong experience with online marketing strategies and brand management Excellent attention to detail, proactive work ethic, and proven ability to establish and maintain schedules.
Adaptable in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with ability to manage multiple, competing priorities Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects with key stakeholders across the company Salary Range: $111,000 - $186,700 Annual Job located in Richmond, CA at Mountain Hardwear HQ.
