*SBA Loan Officer*

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for our Commercial Banking Team.
The Ideal candidate who are responsible for generating SBA loans.
Develops and executes business plans aligned with management objectives and directs the generation of sales opportunities.
Ensures all SBA eligibility, regulations and underwriting guidelines are followed.
Reviews loan quality and oversees process.
Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES*
· Demonstrates quality customer service principles with internal and external customers consistently.
· Ensure adherence to bank policy as well as federal and state banking regulations.
· Liaises with senior management and assists with development of strategic plans in relation to SBA loans.
· Leads SBA sales efforts, including assistance with direct calling when warranted.
· Sustains compliance with all lending requirements based on all SBA standard operating procedures.
· Determines eligibility of loans approved subject to an SBA guaranty.
· Determines the documentation required in accordance with loan size and collaterals.
· Acts as additional endorsing officer to review and sign off on Loan Applications for 7a, 504 and other Government Program loan requests.
· Establishes sales channels and lead sale efforts of guaranteed portions of loans or pools of loans to the secondary market.
· Works with Credit Administration to implement specific SBA underwriting criteria.
· Assists Credit Administration and Loan Operations in collection of documents to complete the application and closing processes.
· Maintains the highest level of confidentiality regarding all sensitive, confidential and proprietary Bank information.
· Assist with develops advertising and promotional material for SBA products.
· Monitors SBA monthly sales efforts to ensure the business development sales targets and results are achieved.
· Negotiation and completion of SBA required documentation and closing of SBA loans.
*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*
Requires Bachelors degree in Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 8 years experience in all phases of retail bank operations.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing SBA lending products and services.
Thorough understanding of bank branch operations, regulatory laws and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to use knowledge, experience, discretion and independent judgment in solving problems and answering questions.
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage staff; efficiently handle heavy volumes of loans, and effectively work with all areas of the Bank.
Through knowledge of Bank’s products and services.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent credit skills and time management skills.
Solid understanding of SBA SOP requirements, including underwriting and eligibility requirements of most SBA loan types.
Ability to travel.
