*Position Title: Church Administrator*
*Reports to: The Rector*
Employment Classification: Regular, Non-exempt, Part-time (up to 18 hours per week).
*Summary: *The right candidate will be highly detail-oriented and demonstrate clear and effective communication while maintaining flexibility and composure.
An individual in this role should have strong computer skills, be able to juggle multiple requests and projects, have outstanding organizational and time management skills, and be comfortable working independently in ambiguous situations that require sound judgment.
A proven track record of effective time management, complex problem solving, a bias for action, and delivering exceptional results is a must.
Key Requirements:
* Friendly, welcoming, patient with guests to church office
* Discreet
* Familiar with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.
)
* Ability to learn other software, such as Realm and Constant Contact
* Comfortable working in a religious environment
Communications:
* Prepare weekly service bulletins
* Prepare Friday email blast
* Work with volunteers to prepare the annual report and other documents
Membership administration
* Use Realm software to maintain the membership database
* Schedule and assist office volunteers
* Send scheduling reminders to other volunteers
Volunteer Coordination
* Schedule and assist office volunteers
* Send scheduling reminders to other volunteers
* Assist the volunteer facility manager in scheduling and monitoring use of the buildings
Assist Rector with various administrative tasks, as needed
* Maintain records for both volunteers and staff, such as training given by the diocese
* Maintain records for facility, such as servicing of furnace, inspection by exterminator, etc.
* Other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
* Experience working in a church would be ideal but not essential
* Administrative support: 3 years (preferred)
* Associate Degree or higher (preferred but not essential)
* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
* Excellent communication and organization skills
* Some creative/marketing experience
* Ability to work autonomously

Pay: $22.
