In the times we're in and the times we're facing, if you don't have a sense of humor or a leaning toward the absurd, it's going to be a rough ride!
Backing into Humor seeks to bring humor off the stage into the midst of the everyday citizen.
It's based on the premise of being funny without trying to be funny.
With expert facilitation, personal stories and anecdotes are invited, where there is no humor at someone else's expense or that of cynicism, thereby establishing a safe-space for creative expression.
Improvisational techniques will be introduced along the way, and with group support, the development of sit-coms, as well as 5-10 minute "stand-up" presentations for those who choose to expand their improvisational capabilities.
About Ron Tilden, the originator and facilitator of Backing into Humor:
Ron has been a consultant to corporations for over 35 years.
As an improvisational jazz musician, Ron uses improvisation, play and humor not only to reduce stress, but to invite free-association - the doorway to imagination, innovation, and creative expression.
Come see what's possible when people relate stories born out of personal experiences in a spirit of free association and play.
