Neighbors of all ages, from kids to seniors?
Then check out Berkeley Moshav, the first urban Jewish cohousing community! Cohousing is a form of intentional community, with private homes and ample shared spaces, where residents build connections based on mutual support and care, enjoying shared meals and celebrations and forming a neighborhood infused with belonging.
It’s a great place to raise kids or age in place! Currently in development and inviting new members, Berkeley Moshav puts a Jewish twist on the cohousing model, rooting our community in Jewish tradition and values.

OUR VISION: Berkeley Moshav enriches the lives of members through communal activities, personal interactions, shared responsibilities, and celebration of Shabbat and Jewish holidays, in an environment of private homes and extensive common facilities.
With members joining us from across the country, we’re creating a vibrant, multigenerational community where everyone can participate in the rhythms of Jewish life in a context inclusive of a wide spectrum of Jewish observance, from secular to traditional, and welcoming of people from other religions.
