HOMELESS FOR THE NEW YEAR This message has really has broken my spirit and I feel so small inside asking for help, but I’ve been homeless since the pandemic and asked for online help but got disrespectful insults such as loser, scum, white trash, freeloader, scammer, lazy bum etc! It really hurt my feelings when people message me to interrogate or chastise my situation.

Thank You! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I stay in hostels whenever I can afford; however the CalWORKs Housing Support Program (HSP) is assisting me in getting an apartment but I’m on their waiting list “For Monthsss”— they’re also finding me a “Job” as part of their program for the homeless.
