Hi!
I am looking for a graphic designer to help me put together a logo and a general brand idea for a volunteer program I am starting in Sonoma County.
I am reaching out online in hopes that I could inspire an individual(s) to help the cause either for free or barter.
I am also open to pay if that’s the option that presents itself.
I am paying for this project out of my own pocket because it is something I believe in.
I by no means have a lot of money, but this idea has quickly become a passion project of mine and I don’t want to stop the momentum by settling for the first opportunity that presents itself.
I am looking for someone who is also excited about giving back to the community of Sonoma County and passionate about creating a brand that’s only purpose is to help others and strengthen our community.
I recently volunteered at a few events for a few different organizations throughout Sonoma County.
I wanted to continue to volunteer but the issue I came across is my schedule doesn’t align with the schedules of the volunteer programs.
There are a lot of wonderful organizations in Sonoma County, helping a lot of different types of people, but I realized there are still so many people around that fall in between the criteria of these organizations.
In this social environment, both politically, and financially, we are all struggling day to day.
Whether that is financially, emotionally, or physically, we all, still need help.
So, the idea is simple, what this program will offer is to help anyone in need of it.
This can be anything from, helping to do someone’s errands, giving a ride, housework, yard work, socializing, really any project that someone needs help with and that I can help with, I will.
I am starting to gather a team of friends who are passionate about the same idea, and the goal is to continue to
grow the program.
Whether it ends up becoming a non-profit organization or just a general charity is still to be decided.
Everything we will be offering is 100% free and we will never ask for anything in return.
What we get out of it, is, the satisfaction of helping people who need help and don’t have any one to ask.
We also get to broaden and strengthen our community and work together to create something truly unique.
To any graphic designers or anyone who might have a reference or someone in mind that would be motivated to help, please let me know.
Again, I am not necessarily asking for something free, that would be best case scenario.
I am open and willing to work out something as I understand it’s not easy work and everyone deserves to be compensated for their skills.
