As the head of Sonoma's Best Coffee, your role goes beyond operations and leadership.
You'll be our chief coffee enthusiast, leading not just with business acumen but with a cup of coffee in hand, always ready to explore and share the depth of coffee culture.
This role is for those who find joy in the journey from bean to cup, who can talk for hours about the nuances of coffee, and who dream of creating a space that stands as a testament to coffee's rich heritage and exciting future.

* Serve as the leading expert on all things coffee, from sourcing and roasting to brewing techniques, ensuring our offerings reflect the highest standards of quality and innovation.
* Engage with the coffee community, staying abreast of trends, innovations, and conversations that keep our shop at the forefront of the coffee scene.
* Champion operational excellence, streamlining processes for efficiency while enhancing the customer experience.
* Lead by example, embodying our values of quality, innovation, and community engagement.
* Cultivate a culture of growth, encouraging and implementing innovative ideas from all team members.
* Develop and execute strategies for business growth, including marketing, community involvement, and customer service excellence.
* Oversee financial performance, setting and achieving ambitious but achievable targets.
* Foster an environment where feedback is welcomed and acted upon, leading to continuous improvement.
*Qualifications:*
* A living, breathing passion for coffee, demonstrated through extensive knowledge, continuous learning, and a desire to share that passion with others.
* Experience in specialty coffee, including direct involvement in bean selection, roasting processes, and brewing techniques.
* *5+ years* of experience in coffee shop management or a similar leadership role, with a proven track record of operational improvement and business growth.
* Deep knowledge of the coffee industry, with a keen eye for emerging trends and a desire to be at the forefront of innovation.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire a team towards excellence and growth.
* Strategic thinker with a strong operational background, able to balance day-to-day management with long-term vision.
* Demonstrated ability to implement change effectively, with a focus on operational excellence and efficiency.
* Experience in developing and maintaining a strong community presence, building relationships that benefit both the business and its customers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
