Job Summary
As the Performance Marketing Manager: Marketplace at Spectrum brands, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing advertising campaigns across various e-commerce platforms.
You will work closely with the sales, account management and content teams to develop advertising strategies that drive revenue growth and brand awareness.
Your main goal is to maximize and grow incremental sales while managing spend efficiency to deliver TACOS goals.
Your day-to-day activities will involve planning and executing advertising campaigns, analyzing performance data, and making data-driven optimizations on the Amazon and Wal-Mart marketplaces.
You will collaborate with internal teams to align advertising efforts with overall marketing and sales strategies.
As the advertising expert, you will stay current with industry trends and developments to ensure that Spectrum Brands remains competitive in the ever-evolving e-commerce landscape.
This is a hybrid role with the intention to relocate to a commutable distance to Fairfield, NJ.
Relocation assistance is provided.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and manage advertising campaigns across various e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, and others.
Own full funnel marketing execution on the Amazon and Wal-Mart marketplace including sponsored product, sponsored brands, sponsored display, and DSP campaigns.
Leverage marketing software to manage, execute and optimize marketing performance.
Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to develop strategies to drive traffic to Amazon and Wal-Mart marketplaces.
Analyze campaign performance data and make data-driven optimizations to maximize TACOS performance.
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging advertising opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
Provide regular reports and insights on advertising performance to eCommerce sales and inventory teams and other key stakeholders.
Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and effective ad creatives.
Partner with the eCommerce creative team on SEO optimizations based on paid keyword strategies.
Ensure advertising campaigns adhere to platform guidelines and company brand standards.
Manage advertising budget and monitor spend to ensure cost-efficiency and optimal TACOS.
Education and Experience Profile
Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
Required Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in advertising management, with a focus on Amazon.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with marketing software platforms such as Teikametrics, Perpetua, etc.
Proven experience in managing advertising campaigns, particularly in eCommerce.
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Walmart, and others
Excellent analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
Financially astute with superior analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable with leveraging complex data.
Track record of delivering results and executing with excellence for a large volume, high profile business.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency with Excel and data analytics, BI tools, and data science methods in solving complex problems.
Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and proven ability to lead large and complex projects with cross functions and teams.
