Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, the Market Specialist is responsible for the assessment of local marketing needs to support community efforts, brand awareness/recognition and lead generation for product sales, and sales support for Branch, Mortgage, Small Business, and Investments teams.
The Market Specialist will be responsible for supporting the determined regional marketing approach and customization needs and implementing corporate marketing initiatives locally to ensure adoption, utilization of marketing materials locally, effective communications and successful execution of the corporate marketing initiatives.
The Market Specialist will advocate for local community involvement and events, and work with the Manager of Community Engagement to ensure the annual community plan is sufficient to drive brand awareness and recognition of Nuvision’s purpose To Help Build Lives.
Market Specialist recruits Nuvision volunteers and socializes community efforts.
In addition, the Market Specialist will work with local teams to understand the unique market and competitive situation and develop local plans to supplement the corporate marketing initiatives to help drive brand awareness and sales leads.
The Market Specialist will provide ongoing reporting of key initiatives and reporting on local campaign success.
Responsibilities: • Supporting determined regional marketing approach, customization needs and most appropriate execution to successfully implement corporate marketing initiatives.
• Work with corporate marketing and local agencies to implement corporate campaigns such as pre-approvals, quarterly mortgage & deposit campaigns at the local level.
• Ensure all campaign communications are understood, relevant, and accurate for the local market.
• Ensure all marketing elements have been localized for all media channels including in-branch, email, direct mail, radio, TV, outdoor, and digital.
• Works with local agencies and production shops to produce and distribute local marketing materials • Work with Digital Specialist and Corporate Marketing to ensure website is complete, accurate, relevant and functioning.
• Prepares Market level reporting on all marketing activities and results.
• Contributes local marketing activity updates to the weekly marketing update communication and share with local teams in their weekly meetings properly.
• Supports executing Local community engagement activities including events, seminars, partnerships and sponsorships for the Community Engagement Manager’s approval.
• Works in collaboration with Community Engagement Manager to plan and facilitate events • Reports on the competitive market environment and makes formal recommendations on promotions and rate promotions • Works with Compliance to ensure all materials are legal.
• Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
• Maintains member, team members and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Treats co-workers and members with respect.
• Supports member relations and events that promotes member centric experiences • Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: • At least 3 years of progressive hands-on experience implementing community engagement and marketing campaigns including understanding various components such as copy, minor design, and familiar with all channels.
• Experience working in fast-paced environment organizing multiple priorities and projects • Networking and building solid relationships within the community.
• Familiarity with financial products, services and general financial industry • Familiarity with event planning, design, copy, digital tools • Experienced with coordinating, managing and guiding multiple priorities and projects simultaneously and effectively through to completion.
• Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
• Work involves much personal contact with others inside and outside of the organization • Ability to build relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills • Ability to read reports, extrapolate data and communicate results/findings • Ability to compose and provide reports either through Excel or Prism • Proficient with PC and computer software applications with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including spreadsheets, word processing and presentation software • Detail oriented with an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits Education: High School or Equivalent Website: nuvisionfederal.

49 The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, job related training/education, etc.
