*About the role*
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our growing team and play an integral role in bringing to life the mission and vision of the top health innovators, venture capitalists, and scientists in the world.
*About you*
You are a savvy and highly effective social media strategist, copywriter, and analyst that understands how to leverage social media and other digital channels to establish and grow brands in biotech and digital health.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Social strategy*: Develop and continuously evolve social media strategy with a focus on brand awareness and growing our clients’ social media channels and engagement
* *Planning*: Develop and communicate clear and concise recommendations and plans for social media activity that aligns with broader PR priorities.
* *Campaign development*: Ideate, develop, and execute unique and engaging social media campaigns, both organic and paid
* *Copywriting*: Drafting and optimizing engaging and effective social media copy that reflects knowledge of a client’s industry and positioning
* *Creative content: *Plan, source, and manage new creative assets in collaboration with our PR and creative teams for daily and weekly content
* *Execution*: Drive execution of clients’ social media content across all platforms, including the management of editorial calendars and day-to-day posting activities that result in flawless execution
* *Analytics:* Monitor, analyze, and optimize social media performance based on KPIs, established benchmarks, and the latest trends.
Provide regular reporting and analysis.
* *Client management*: Independently build, manage and execute a complete social media strategy and proactively manage client needs.
Thoughtfully counsel clients and take immediate action on client feedback.
* *Results*: Effectively drive measurable results and prioritize responsibilities based on impact, timelines, workflow and client goals.
* *Industry perspective*: Monitor and communicate a point of view on current industry trends and issues
The responsibilities of this role will vary depending on the needs of each specific account and will not be limited to those listed above.
*Requirements*
* 3-5+ years experience managing social media, including within an agency environment
* Experience and genuine interest in biotech, science and health technologies and services
* Highly efficient with excellent organization and project management skills
* Creative mind with proven track record creating compelling social media campaigns and content
* Strong writing and editing skills with incredible attention to detail, tone and context
* A confident communicator that thrives in a fast-paced, high growth environment
* Proactive and self-driven, always looking for new opportunities for growth and results
* Calmness under pressure, sound judgment and ability to achieve within tight deadlines
* Direct and transparent interpersonal communication skills
* A polished, professional and timely approach
* Experience with all major social media platforms, in addition to analytics and scheduling tools such as Brandwatch, Sprout, Google Analytics, etc.
* Savvy on the latest changes and trends in social media marketing and communications
