Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated Paid Media Manager who is passionate about paid media and digital marketing.
The Events Demand Generation team produces industry-leading marketing campaigns for our in-person and virtual experiences that are the ultimate expression of the Salesforce brand, culture, and core values.
The team continually innovates across all marketing channels to connect the right customers and prospects to the right events, helping continue to position Salesforce as the global leader in CRM and AI.
As a Manager, Paid Media on the Events Demand Generation team, you will help drive paid media strategy and execution of all our proprietary event in-person and virtual marketing campaigns.
You have excellent communication skills, acute attention to detail, unshakable nerves, and an unrestrained desire to master and contribute to marketing standard processes of what has made Salesforce events so press-worthy.
Responsibilities: What impact will the candidate make? Own media performance across all channels for our strategic events portfolio, working closely with the Sr.
Director of Events Demand Generation to develop media plans that support objectives across both our in-person and digital events.
Responsible for collaborating with the team’s demand generation marketers, cross-functional teams across the globe where needed, Media Lab partners, creative, and strategic teams to brief, build, pitch, implement paid media plans, and optimize/pivot when needed.
Develop comprehensive paid media strategies across social, search, and third-party channels, aligned with our strategic events objectives.
Liaise with cross-functional teams as a paid media subject matter expert to understand event objectives, targeting and segmentation so all nuances are reflected in our paid media campaigns.
Dig into audience insights and leverage data to further redefine the paid media channel strategy.
Engage directly with other areas of the business deploying paid media to determine if there are alignments between our campaigns and theirs.
Craft clear and compelling briefs and ads and work with our messaging and writing partners on externally-facing paid media assets and internal deliverables.
Drive creative optimization strategy and feedback loops with internal teams including events demand generations partners, creative, and messaging.
Support the creation and maintenance of marketing assets including pitch decks, presentations, and debriefs.
Support the channel strategy performance reporting, complete with extrapolation based on the data.
Stay up to date on the latest media trends, channels, and vendor technologies to ensure our events are innovating and demonstrating the right strategies for our objectives.
Minimum qualifications: What is absolutely necessary to be considered? 5-8 years of professional experience in demand generation, performance marketing, or digital marketing, preferably in the B2B industry Excels at keeping your eye on the big picture objectives while also diving into the details that can critically impact the success of our marketing campaigns Ability to communicate clearly and concisely and manage expectations with project collaborators Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and ability to manage multiple initiatives and projects simultaneously Excellent interpersonal skills with a solid ability to deal professionally with senior executives, vendors, and team members at all levels of the organization Is a collaborator, and no job is too small Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel 0-10%.

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $131,300 to $180,500.
For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $131,300 to $180,500.
Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
