Hosts serve as representatives for Rec and its partners at facilities and are the main point of contact for our players and instructors that come to participate in programming.
You will help set up courts, welcome players to the facility, and answer any questions players or instructors have on site.
This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.
Rec provides a platform that takes care of all the logistics for instructors so they can focus on teaching and building relationships with their students.
The platform helps you: find new students, host clinics, accept payments, automatically notify students of your upcoming availability and classes, and provide insurance coverage.
*Responsibilities*
* Serve as a Rec representative at facilities.
* Must be available on weekends including 11am to 7pm on Saturdays
* Set up & take down of pickleball courts
* Help distribute marketing materials
* Encourage and maintain a quality experience during all programming
*Qualifications*
* Experience hosting sporting events
* Ability to lift objects up to 20 pounds
* Availability during evenings and weekends.
* Ability to manage groups of students and communicate effectively with students
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Must pass a background check
*Nice to have qualifications (but not required!)*
* Experience playing Pickleball
*Pay:*
* Sport hosts are paid per hour.
They hourly rate will depend on the hosts level of experience
