*About the job*
GRE is looking for an on-site maintenance technician to live and work at a 64-unit HUD building in Lower Pac Heights.
The maintenance technician will work closely with portfolio manager and property manager to assess the scope and perform repairs.
The ideal candidate is client focused with a positive attitude who aligns with GRE’s principles and core values.
This position is a full-time position and must live on-site.
*Responsibilities*
* Schedule repair appointments, responsible for contacting tenants and completing workorders within 72 hours of receipt
* Ensure client satisfaction when the job is complete
* Performs routine repairs of electrical, plumbing, flooring, and other miscellaneous repairs
* Keeps a detailed log of completed and pending work orders
*Required skills and abilities*
* Previous experience working with hazardous material
* How to diagnose asbestos, mold, and lead paint hazards
* Experience using AppFolio is a plus
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
* Knowledge of maintenance processes and methods
* Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
*What we are looking for*
* 1-5 years of progressive experience as a handyman, repairman, or maintenance technician.
* Ability to use a smartphone, email, and perform basic computer tasks
