Hi there!
I am a biologist (Marine Biology BS and Biology MS) with plans to continue on to veterinary school in the next two years.
My passion in life is rescuing and rehabilitating animals.
Currently, I live on a 10+ acre ranch where my friends and I legally rescue both domestic and exotic animals.
We have permits for many of our animal species and undergo annual USDA + Fish and Wildlife inspections in addition to our 501(c)(3) status.
We have experience treating almost every common ailment that can impact a critter (metabolic bone disease, dehydration, malnourishment, worms/parasites, burns, infections, etc.
) No animal is too great of a challenge for us.
We have horses, tortoises, turtles, donkeys, tegus, chameleons, geckos, snakes, birds, mice, guinea pigs, fish, skunks, emu, camels, a pig, a pack of dogs, and many other animals living at our rescue.
We have experience with practically every animal you can get your hands on - big and small.
PLEASE feel free to reach out and ask questions about us and our rescue efforts.
We’re extremely open about what we do and are actively involved in community outreach and education.
If we’re unable to take the animal(s) in ourselves, I have built a network of rescue contacts, and can help refer you to at least one or two people who would be able to assist.
Our main goal is to give people and their animals support.
There’s NO JUDGEMENT in rehoming an animal- especially when it’s in their best interest.
We collaborate with several other rescues and individual rescuers in the area- if you’re out here helping animals we would love to connect! We often get extra animal supplies that we would rather pass along to those who need it most.
The rescue community has been an amazing inspiration and we want to continue supporting anyone we can.
We’re happy to accept animals without question, but we don’t pay rehoming fees.
Any animal surrenders are considered a rescue situation and we need to put our funding towards caring for/feeding the animals and providing enrichment for them.
If you want to show up and just hand the animal off without question, we’re OK with that, but we do stay in touch with those who request it in order to provide updates on the animal’s welfare (that’s by request of course).
We also have social media accounts for our rescue/outreach work and can provide those details as well.
We are extremely transparent about what we do.
Please reach out via text or email if you’d like to chat or need help with an animal situation.
We respond a lot faster to texts, but email is totally fine too! We’re located in Sonoma but we are willing to travel if needed.
(Every animal pictured is a rescue and forever resident with our ranch/rescue.
