8 year old cuddly baby in need of loving home (Oakland)

this is Thomas, my 8 year old (dob ~5/2015) domestic short hair cat.
I’ve had him since 2018 and he’s been one of my best buddies during this time.
he is cuddly, silly, and easy going.
he was adopted with a brother as a bonded pair (see last photo), who we lost to lymphoma in December of 2022.
I don’t plan on getting another pet soon, and I am not home often enough these days to give him the attention he deserves.
I’d like him to ideally go to a home with another cat with whom he can be physically affectionate with or with physically affectionate humans :) his only health problem is a weak stomach which requires simple ingredient diets (currently eating PureVita).
more complex diets may trigger inflammation.
he is otherwise in great shape and has all his shots.

there will be an adoption fee of $150 to ensure he’s going to a well-meaning home.
we can work to make this fee work for your household based on the fit.
he’ll be ready to be picked up within a week of our call, if we determine everything is a good fit, and we are also available to foster him for up to 2 months if needed.
