Job Description
sharingbox is looking for well-organized and resourceful event technicians who will assist the business and logistics team.
Event technicians are the face of the company and responsible for being the ‘pulse’ of our activations.
This job requires bringing and setting up various film/photography equipment, and our proprietary sharingbox units to various locations and executing the clients vision.
The job entails a high level of customer service as you are often asked to engage and excite potential (and sometimes inhibited) users.
Adeptness for a constantly changing schedule, work environment, and job responsibilities a must.
About You
-Have a strong grasp of photography + lighting principles, and a proven track-record of applying these principles
-Are tech savvy and proficient on all Windows supported platforms
-Are able to switch gears quickly; one moment your sleeves are rolled up and you are constructing a backdrop, the next moment you are conversing with the head of a major agency about achieving aesthetically superior images + UX
-Are self-sufficient and are able to be extremely productive with minimal supervision
-Are punctual, responsible, reliable (the type to be 10 minutes early, not 10 minutes late)
-Have superb communication skills, both in person and in written form
-Are extremely outgoing, friendly, and can read social cues
-Are able to lift 70+ lbs
-Have a valid NY driver’s license
-Must be vaccinated for Covid-19 (must be able to provide proof of vaccination)
-This will be a W2 position
Job Type: Part-time (dependent on event booking and availability, no guaranteed hours)
Salary: $25.
00 /hour DOE and increasing over time
